Why Give/The Vision
Great public spaces strengthen community, support a vibrant local economy, and create places where people want to spend time. SRPPS brings together private support and public partnership to help turn promising ideas into visible improvements throughout San Rafael. Whether you are a longtime resident or new to the community, we invite you to give some love to the place we believe is the heart of Marin County.
How Funds Are Used
The San Rafael Partnership for Public Spaces is led by an all-volunteer Board, allowing us to keep operating costs low and direct the majority of funds toward visible improvements in our community. Donations currently primarily support the design, materials, and installation of our public space projects—from landscaping and seating to beautification, public art, and other enhancements. A small portion of funds supports essential operating expenses needed to manage our projects and organization responsibly. Our goal is simple: put as much of every contribution as possible directly into creating more beautiful, welcoming, and vibrant public spaces throughout San Rafael.
The Goal
$100,000 YEAR 1 GOAL
Your support will help launch our new Partnership and move our initial pilot projects forward. Court Plaza Improvements & Community Clean-Up events will be our first priorities. Funds also support the basic infrastructure needed to establish SRPPS and build a sustainable platform for future projects. Any amount donated is greatly appreciated.
